It's hand carved in the classic Mughal style with a trailing acanthus design embellished with parrots. There is a traditional lime finish that accentuates the carving. It is a true statement piece. These doors are saved from buildings in India that have fallen into a state of disrepair and are no longer in a repairable state. As with most Indian doors, they would have originally
