Constructed of off white paper stock with multi coloured ink, consisting of a preliminary promotion document elevating Ernst Schmedding from Oberstleutnant to Oberst, featuring double sided, point form, typewritten biographical and service records for Schmedding, dated 1 August 1944 and certified by the handwritten signature of Reichsfhrer SS Heinrich Himmler, with a Chancellery receipt stamp
