Finland, Republic. An Order Of The Cross Of Liberty, Iii Class, Military Division, C.1918 certificate_of_authenticity silvering on the obverse has(Vapaudenristin ritarikunta). Instituted in 1918. Two piece construction, in gilt and blackened iron, magnetic, dated "1918" on the reverse, measuring 38 mm (w) x 64. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its trophy of arms suspension, moderate wear evident in the blackened finish, contact marks, original ribbon, fine. Footnote: The Order of the Cross of Liberty is one of three official orders in Finland, along with the Order of the White Rose of Finland and the
